Virtuozzo (Linux) series

15. How to view your VPS Logs

This tutorial assumes you've already logged in to your Virtuozzo Power Panel (VZPP).

Now let's learn how to view our VPS Logs from Power Panel.

1) Click the link in the left menu to view the Status Changes logs.

This page shows the history of VPS Status Changes. It shows such changes as starting, stopping, rebooting, backing up, or mounting it in repair mode.

2) Click here to view the QoS Alerts log. The QoS (Quality of Service) Alerts log reflects those states of your VPS when it hits limits on some hardware resource. Every time a VPS consumes more of a resource than  is specified by the limit on that resource, or is coming close to that limit, a QoS Alert is generated and logged on this page.

3) Now let's look at the Actions Log..... click here.

The Actions Log reflects only those actions related to VPS management that were performed through your Power Panel (VZPP).

4) Click on a Details link to view more details of a specific Action Log.

A Task Details window opens, showing the steps taken to complete the action.

This is the end of the tutorial. You now know how to view Status Changes, QoS Alerts and Actions VPS logs from your Power Panel.
